DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs) cleaning services, designed to support eligible veterans and war widows/widowers in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment:
General House Cleaning
- Dusting and wiping down all accessible surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs
- Sweeping and mopping hard floors
- Removing cobwebs
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
Bedroom Areas
- Dusting furniture, skirting boards, and fixtures
- Vacuuming under and around the bed
- Making or changing the bed (if requested)
Kitchen Cleaning
- Wiping down benches, splashbacks, and cupboard exteriors
- Cleaning stovetops and appliance surfaces
- Wiping microwave interior and exterior
- Taking out rubbish and recyclables
- Light dishwashing or unpacking dishwasher
Bathroom & Toilet Areas
- Scrubbing and disinfecting showers, bathtubs, and toilets
- Cleaning sinks, vanities, mirrors, and tiles
- Wiping down taps and fixtures
- Mopping floors with appropriate disinfectants
Light Laundry Support (if approved)
- Washing and hanging clothes
- Folding laundry
- Ironing (if specified in the support plan)

- Sanitising high-touch surfaces (door handles, remotes, light switches)
